STRINGER, James Alexander (Sandy)

On March 18, 2009, at the Maniototo Hospital, Ranfurly; aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Kath, loved father, father-in-law and friend of John and Wendy, Barbara and the late Philip, the late Robert (Rab), and Trish, loved grandad of Becky, Katie, Amber, Jay, Sharna, Kevahn, Cobie, Yevahni, and Cajun; Emma, and James; Dan, Will, Selene, Shaun, and Rosette; Jenny, and Sam and loved great-grandfather of all his great-grandchildren.

Thanks to the staff at Dunedin Hospital and special thank you to the staff of the Maniototo Hospital and Dr Verne Smith for their tender and skillful care.

A service for Sandy will be held in St Stephen's Anglican Church, Ipswich Street, Hampden, at 1pm on Tuesday, March 24, followed by private cremation.
