On March 19, 2009, peacefully at Marne Street Hospital; aged 85 years.

Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Ken, loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Irene, Nigel and Rebecca loving nana of Terry, and Deborah; Rosie, Hazel, and Oscar, loved great nana of Craig, Jason, Shane and Sarah, loved sister and sister-in-law of Pat and Ken (Invercargill).

A service for Cissy will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3pm on Tuesday March 24, followed by private cremation.
