Peacefully on May 9, 2009 at Dunedin Hospital after a short illness; aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of Ivy. Loved father and father-in-law of Bryan & Pauline (Wellington), Murray & Shona, and the late Peter, loved granddad of Simone & Rick, Tony, and Gemma, and great-grandfather of Ryan.

A service for Ron will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Wednesday May 13, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
