On May 27,2009 peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice, surrounded by her loving family; aged 76 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Ashley, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Marilyn and John Holmes, David and Rae Steel, the late John, Catherine and the late Russell Gunn and partner Barry Johnston, Roy and Maree Steel, Lyall and Jo Steel. Loved Grandma of Alison and Anthony, Gillian and Andrew; Craig, and Scott; Emma, Nathan and Lisa, and Hayden; Blake, and Lachlan; Aimee, Ash, and Graeme; and GG to Olivia.

A service to celebrate Heather's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1:00pm on Tuesday June 2 with refreshments afterwards at the Forbury Park Bowling Club. Private Cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice or St. Johns Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
