ROONEY, Graeme James
On Sunday July 19, 2009, at his home after a short illness, aged 61 years, born Balclutha April 25, 1948.

Dearly loved husband of Bev (nee Upjohn), loved father, father-in-law, and friend of Mathew and Helena, Emma and Chris, and proud grandfather of his cherished grandchildren Caelin and Luke Rooney, loved son of Bill and Flo Rooney (both deceased), and step-son of Elsie Rooney (deceased), loved son-in-law and No. 2 son of Lorna and Reg Upjohn (Christchurch), dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Betty (deceased), Irvine Rooney (deceased), Norman and Carol Rooney (Dunedin), Ken and Maria Rooney (Auckland), Owen Rooney and Liz Norman (Dunedin), Warren and Bev Upjohn (Christchurch), Raewyn Maher (Christchurch), and loved by his nieces and nephews, sadly missed by his cat Cookie.

"You were taken from us far too early, you will be with us forever, and we will always love you."

A celebration of Graeme's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2pm on Thursday July 23 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
