MUNRO, Merle Aileen

Passed away peacefully in Craig Unit, Ross Home on Monday July 20, 2009; in her 76th year.

Loved and cherished wife of Gavin for more than 53 years, devoted mother and mother-in-law of Katrina (Wellington), Robin and Yevgenia (Christchurch), Carolyn (Hamilton) and Stuart (South Korea). Treasured Gran of Geoffrey, Penelope, Elizabeth and George (Hamilton).

A service to celebrate Merle's life will be held in the Church of Christ, corner of St Andrew and Filleul Streets, at 2.00pm on Saturday July 25, followed by private cremation.

Special thanks to the staff at Craig Unit, Ward 6B Dunedin Hospital, Leith House and Glamis Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stroke Foundation of NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
