ARLIDGE, William Thomas (Bill)

On August 15, courageously after a short illness, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 60 years.


Dearly loved and loving husband and best friend of Lynley. Adored and treasured father and father-in-law of Gary and Merewyn, Michelle and Peter Cassell (Melbourne), Jacqui and Craig Chirnside (Mosgiel). Devoted grandad of Katie, and Sophie; Cameron, and Nicole; Max, Blake, and Nico and beloved son-in-law of Joy Thorpe (Mosgiel).

Very special thanks to Ward 7A at Dunedin Hospital for their unconditional care and special thank you to Dr Ben Brockway for his ongoing support.

A service for Bill will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Thursday August 20, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
