Suddenly after a short illness at Dunedin Hospital on Saturday August 22, 2009; aged 69 years.

Much loved and loving husband and best friend of Lorraine. Loved Dad of Bryan, Trevor and Kristin, Grandad of Samantha, Nicholas, Grace, and Elizabeth. Loved and respected stepfather of Sharon Rayne and Duane Holmes, and special Poppa of Aisling, Ciara, Niamh, Caitlin, and Jack.

A service to celebrate Stan's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 1.30 pm on Wednesday August 26, followed by private cremation.

Donations to the Amputee Society of Otago and Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
