On October 28, 2009 peacefully at home; aged 85 years.

Dearly loved companion of John Gillies and loved wife of the late Les. Dear mother of the late Paul, and of Gillian, Rachel, Alison, Ian, and Imogen and loved granny of Shelly, Orlando, and Pascal; Ollie, Lytton, and the late Lawrence; Patrick, and Tomas; Aiki, and Rhea; Emily, Tod, and Hazel.

A service for Marian will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Tuesday November 3, followed by private cremation.
