On November 1, 2009 peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; in her 85th year.

Loved wife of the late David, loving mum and mother-in-law of Keith and Denise, Lawrence and Janice (Rangiora), Ronald and Lynne (Sydney), Steve and Sue, Jeff and Rachel, and Nigel. Loved grandma of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Barbara Stewart and a loved aunt.

A service for Ellen will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Thursday November 5, followed by private cremation.
