On November 12, 2009 at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his family; aged 98 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Alice. Loved dad of Jim and Marama (Auckland), Alan and the late Pam (Hamilton), Ken and Belinda (Gladstone), Stephen and Teresa (USA). Loved grandad of Tania and Peter, Brendon and Sonia, and Karyn; Fiona and Richard, Charlotte, Andrea and Nathan, Helene and Corey; Katie, and Jeremy. Great grandad of Courtney, Cameron, Tara, and Annalese; Mia, Lachlan, William, Lucas, and Quinn. Loved brothr of June (Christchurch) and the late Mona, Irene and Joan.

A service for Bill will be held in St Peters Anglican Church Hillside Road, Caversham at 10.30am on Monday November 16, followed by private cremation.

A donation for the Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
