SIMPSON, Elva Violet (nee Tait)
On November 30, 2009 peacefully in the loving care of the Otago Community Hospice, after a short illness; aged 73 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon. Much loved and admired Mum and Mum-in-law of Jan and John Wilson (Timaru), Susan and John Martin (Wellington), Kirstie and Geoff McLelland (Palmerston), Sally and Mahal Pearce (Dunedin). Much loved Grandma of Sam, and Jessie Wilson; Ben, Callum, and Ed Martin; Becky, Matt, Ollie, Kate, and the late Liam McLelland; Zac, and Hannah Pearce.

"You were an inspiration to us all."

A service to celebrate Elva's life will be held in First Church of Otago, Moray Place, Dunedin at 2pm on Friday December 4 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
