After a long illness, on August 12, 2010 at Dunedin Hospital, in his 80th year.

Loved husband of Beth, much loved father and father-in-law of Jane & Tubby Harrison, Alan & Jodie Bunyan, Douglas Bunyan & Carolyn McLean, Mark & Jeanette Bunyan, Neil & Debbie Bunyan. Loved grandad of Riannon, and Shauna Harrison; Hope, Corey, Luke, and Scott; Matthew; Alec, Jake, and Jessie; and Bobby.

A service for Gordon will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Monday August 16, followed by private cremation.
