On October 1, 2010 at the Otago Community Hospice after a short illness; aged 52 years.

Cherished husband and friend of Bridget, dearly loved Dad of Sophie and Danny Todd, Tessa, and Annie and adored Grandad of Caleb.

A service to farewell Barry will be held in St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, Brighton Road, Dunedin at 1.30pm on Wednesday October 6, followed by private cremation.

Donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Much loved and respected brother and brother-in-law of Sharon (Melbourne), Kerry (Reefton), Shane and Christine (Whitecliffs), Belinda and Michael Beemster (Waimate), Shaun and Debbie McGrath (Timaru), Sarah and Geoff Clapp (Christchurch) and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.
