-On October 14, 2005 at Dunedin Hospital after a brief illness, aged 85 years.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Ruby for 63 years, loved Dad and father-in-law of Diane and Bill Coughlan (Christchurch), Joan and Roger Breen (Melbourne), proud granddad of Chris and Louise Coughlan (London), Megan and Dave Powell (London), and Simon Coughlan (Christchurch), Janna and Jeff Armstrong (California), and Lucy Breen (Melbourne), and great granddad of Oliver and Imogen Armstrong, and Thomas Coughlan. 'At Rest".

Special thanks to the staff of Ward 8A for their care and support.

A service for Gordon will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Monday October 17 followed by private cremation.
