On January 12, 2011 at the Otago Community Hospice; in his 78th year. Dearly loved and loving husband of Rhondda.

Much loved father of Karen & Jan and loving friend of Karen's partner Damen, really loved grandfather of Reingaroa and loving great-grandfather of Ramana & Paraurahi, and extended family from the Cook Islands, Nga, Mamari, Teeu.

"Will always be loved and remembered".

A service for John will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Monday January 17, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
