On February 9, 2011 at Leith House Rest Home, after a long battle; in her 74th year.

Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late Lex, and dearly loved mother and grandma of Karen, Graeme, Becky, and Alex.

Special thank you to the staff and hostesses at Chatsford Village and to Mum's carers, Gretchen, Joy and Margaret, to Judith, Jenny and the lovely staff at Leith house and to Mum's partners in crime, Gay, Wayne, Tom, Russell and Mary and to Dr Prue Murdoch and the team at Amity Health Centre for their compassion and continual care.

A service for Jan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Thursday February 17, followed by private cremation.
