On Sunday February 27, 2011 peacefully at Birchleigh Hospital, Mosgiel; aged 90 years.

Loved husband of Iris. Brother of Sinclair and Len (deceased) and Edith Brown (Waimate) Loved father and friend of Steve and Maria (Palmerston North) Howard and Christine (Wellington) and Lance (Silverstream).

Loved grandfather of Paul and Loretta (Palmerston North) and Michelle and Todd (Gold Coast), Kerry and Amber (Waikato) and Jamie (Wellington) and Great Grandfather of Ethan, Laura and Charlotte (Gold Coast) and Jessica Aroha (Waikato) and Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Will always be remembered and sadly missed.

Thanks to the staff at Birchleigh Hospital for the wonderful care given to Fred.

A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday March 2, followed by private cremation.
