On April 30, 2011, peacefully at Little Sisters of the Poor, Dunedin; in his 80th year.

Loved son of the late James and Patricia Owens (Christchurch). Loved brother of Lorraine (Timaru), Peter (Gore), and Ann (Christchurch).

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Basilica, Craigie Avenue, Timaru at 1pm on Wednesday May 4, the funeral then leaving for the Timaru Cemetery.
