On May 5, 2011 peacefully at home in his daughter's arms, after a long illness; in his 92nd year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Joan, much loved father and father-in-law of Eleanor Omeros (Christchurch), David and Sharron, Margaret and the late Pita Tipa, Jean and John McRae (Hilton), John and Chris, and the late Agnes Elizabeth. Loved grandad of Helene and Joanne, Stephen and Tracey, the late Tama, Craig, Hayden, Shannan, Amberlee, Jessica, and Barton also a special friend of Jasmine and great grandad of his great grandchildren.

A service for Jock will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 1pm on Wednesday May 11 the funeral then leaving for Portobello Cemetery.
