On May 9, 2011 peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; in his 96th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Eunice, loved and respected father and father-in-law of David and Alwyn, Ronald and Maureen (Australia), Kenneth and Mary (Alexandra), Louise and Keith Gilmore; loved poppa of Regan, Emma, and Monique; Tamala, and Kristine; and Simon; loved great grandad of Finn. Loved brother of Lola Elliot (Christchurch).

Thank you to all the staff at Montecillo for their care of Dave.

A service for Dave will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay and Oxford Street at 2pm on Thursday May 12, followed by private cremation.
