On June 8, 2011, peacefully at her home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Terry and Sharon, Patrick and Sonja, and Sue, loved partner and friend of Ron Jefferies, wonderful nana of Hamish, and Emma, Kate, Grace, and Rosa, loved sister and sister-in-law of Ron and Ellen Smoothy, and Peter and Inga.

The most wonderful caring mum we could possibly have had. You will be forever in our hearts.

A service for Eileen will be held in the Mercy Chapel, entrance off Macandrew Road, at 11am on Saturday, June 11, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
