COWAN, Henry Ronald (Ron)

On July 20, 2011, peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; aged 87 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Val. Much loved father and father-in-law of Bruce and Jan (Invercargill), Phil and Lynne (Auckland), Lindsay and Sue (Broome, Australia), Vicki and Nick (Wellington). Loved grandfather of Aaron and Jo , Scott and Ruth (Wellington), Jason and Estelle (Wanaka); Andrew and Ifi (Auckland), Paul (Sydney), Jessica (Auckland); Max (Wellington); Leo (Wellington), and great-grandfather of Keziah, Bella, Fletcher, Luka, and McKenzie. Also a great friend of Alison MacDonald.

A service for Ron will be held in St James Presbyterian Church, King Edward Street, South Dunedin at 2pm on Wednesday July 27, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
