Peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital on Thursday, August 18, 2011.

Cherished husband of Vonnie, loved and loving father and father-in-law of Mark and Christine, Chris and Jacqui, Steve and Carolyn, Gerard and Anthea and the late John, loved grandad of Ariana; Michael, and Casey; James, Tessa; Sam, and Georgia, and GG of Ella.

"You touched the hearts of all who knew you and we loved you greatly".

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Brigids Catholic Church, Bayfield Road, Dunedin at 11am on Tuesday August 23, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
