On November 8, 2011, peacefully, surrounded by the family and in the loving dedicated care of the staff of the Special Care Unit at Yvette Williams Retirement Village; in his 91st year.

Dearly loved and loving husband of Margaret. Dearly loved and respected Dad, father-in-law, Grandad, Great-Grandad and friend of Jim and Colleen, Alan and Terri, Justin and Ruth, Kathryn and Callum, and Connor. Respected uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A service for Charles will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1pm on Monday November 14, followed by private cremation.
