On March 14, 2012 at Montecillo Veterans Home & Hospital; aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Bev, adored father and father-in-law of Jill & Chris, Barb & Pete, Claire & Kenny. Loved grandfather of Stacey & Ross, Lucy & Greg, Bryony & Conner, Cameron, Blair, Jess & Chris, Sarah & Craig, cherished great-grandfather of Zarah, Jorja, and Zabella.

A service for Ian will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2:30pm on Saturday March 17, followed by private cremation. Messages to 4 Charters Street, Glenross, Dunedin 9011.
