Peacefully on April 2, 2012 at Sacred Heart Home and Hospital; in her 95th year.

Loved wife of the late Dave Stewart, dearly loved and caring mother and mother-in-law of Kathleen and Ross Jefferson (Dunedin), Joan and Ian Gray (Allanton), David and Wendy Stewart (Freemantle).

Loved Granny of Karyn and Simon Battrick (Christchurch), Susan and Blair Mitchell (Dunedin), Michael and Anna Jefferson (Wellington) Carolyn Gray and Dave Shanks (Milton), Angela and Justin Green (Melbourne) and loved Granny Maggie of Richard and Palee Stewart (Melbourne) and Rachelle and James Taylor (Perth). Much loved Great Granny of Hannah, Oliver and Katie Battrick; Sam and Thomas Mitchell; Jacob, Luke and Lachlan Jefferson; Ben and Ryan Shanks; and Sienna Green.

"She lived for those she loved, and those she loved remember."

A special thank you to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Redroofs and Dr Dave McKay for their loving care and attention.

A service for Margaret will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.00pm on Thursday April 5, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to Little Sisters would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
