Loved husband of Benita. Loved father and father-in-law of Frazer and Sarah, Peter and Clare, Andrew and Natalie. Treasured grandad of Rochelle and Barry, Rose, Jessica and the late Matthew; Miriam, and Zoe; Alzbeta and great grandad of Jackson, Layla, and Bentley.

A service to celebrate Alex's life will be held in First Church of Otago, Moray Place, Dunedin at 10.30am on Saturday April 28, followed by private cremation.
