On April 30, 2012 peacefully after a courageous battle, with his beloved Helen at his side; aged 62 years. Very much loved and loving husband and best friend of Helen. Much loved Dad of Sarah & Simon, Emma & Geoff, Amy & Andrew. Treasured Poppa of his six grandchildren.

A service for Alister will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12noon on Friday May 4, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
