Best friend and loving husband of Mary for 51 years, devoted father of Gary and Maria (Dunedin), Stuart and Karlay (Myanmar), Gaynor and Carl Smith (Wakapatu), Wayne and Sarah (Perth), best Grandad ever of Christopher, Sacha, Michael, and Georgia; Ben; Tom, and Briar-Rose; and Daniel.

"You've fought your last battle Dad. Rest in Peace."

Many thanks to all staff at Montecillo Veterans Home for the care given and respect shown for almost 3 years.

A graveside service will be held in the Palmerston Services Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10.
