Peacefully on June 12, 2012 at Montecillo Veterans Home, Dunedin; aged 88 years. Devoted husband of his beloved late wife Irene, loved father and father-in-law of Vivienne and Alister Brenssell (Sawyers Bay), Cheryl and Bruce Anderson (Ashburton), Karen and Bob Thorp (Auckland), Sharron and Ron Armishaw (Dunedin), Brenda and Norman Bowden (Nelson), and the late Janet, and Allan. Loved granddad and great granddad of all his grandchildren.- A special thanks is extended to all staff who cared for Lawson during his time at Montecillo Home.

A service for Lawson will be held in the Dignity Chapel, corner Middleton and Isadore Roads at 2pm on Friday June 15 followed by private cremation. Messages to 16 Melbourne Street, South Dunedin, Dunedin 9012.
