On June 22, 2012 in Dunedin; aged 73 years, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Most dearly loved husband of Beth for 51 years, and sweetheart for 55. Loved and treasured father of Mark and Glenn. Loved father-in-law of Vanessa and Elaine. Dearest grandfather of Rebecca, Catherine, Craig, Daniel and Carlin.
Sincere thanks to Dr John North and his staff, the district nurses and Hospice staff, the nursing staff of Dunedin Hospital for their care and kindness.
A service for John will be held in the First Church of Otago, Moray Place at 1pm on Monday July 2 followed by private cremation.
In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
