On July 25, 2012 at Dunedin Hospital peacefully after a short illness; aged 76 years.
Dearly loved partner of Sue Chalmers. Loved Dad of Nicola and David Templeton, Brent, Mark Henderson and Aileen Conboy, loved stepfather of Katy and Garry McLennan, Rene and Rachel Chalmers, Lyndon and Catrina Chalmers, loved grandad of Brian, and Alex; Lena; Sarah, Emily, Violet, Kees, Maya, Zac, and Kayla. Dearly loved brother of Lorna Strickett and the late Margaret Goatham and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.
A service for Les will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2.00pm on Monday July 30, followed by private cremation.
