On Saturday August 18, 2012 hit his last golf ball. Ray collapsed, 1 hole up, on the 10th hole at Balmacewen.

Much loved husband of the late Ann, who he has so dearly missed these recent years.

A great Dad already missed by his kids, Suse, Dave (and Kimberley), Jo (and Mark). Dearly loved Poppa of Matt, Maddy, Brendan, Tom, Frankie, William and Jessie. Youngest brother of Colleen (and Gary) and the late Kevin (and Mary).

A service and celebration of Ray's life will be held in the Otago Golf Club, 125 Balmacewan Road at 1pm on Friday August 24, followed by private cremation.

The service will be led by Father Tony Kearns.
