On January 13, 2013, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of Isabell, loved father and father-in-law of Colin and Roslyn, Robbie and Ruth, loved step-dad of Raewyn and Alan Hodgson, Paula and Russell Holden, Margie and the late Bruce Hanning, much loved granddad and great-granddad.

The family would like to thank the staff of Dunedin Hospital Ward 8A for their love and care of Allan.

A service for Allan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday January 17, followed by private cremation.
