On January 19, 2013, peacefully at Birchleigh Rest Home; aged 90 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Mary.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Katrina, Anne and John Stevenson, Karyn and Lyn Jaffray and Glenda and Sid Heckler and much loved grandad of Kelly, and Alice; Andrew, Michael, Greg and Claire; Mark, Glen and Kate; Anna and Huw, William and Laura and the late Tim and great grandad of Finn.

Special thanks to the staff at Birchleigh for their care and friendship.

A service for Alan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Wednesday January 23, followed by private cremation.
