Unexpectedly on January 30, 2013 at his home; aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Rae, loved father and father-in-law of Faye and the late Colin, Rennie and Helen, Grant and Kate.

Much loved Poppa of Bradley and Sara, and Regan; Nick, Tim and the late Justin; Paul, and Isaac, and Poppa Ray of Tyla and Ashleigh and friend of John Gibson. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Mac and the late Gladys and their family (Invercargill).

A service for Ray will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, followed by private cremation.
