On March 26, 2013 in Dunedin Hospital with his son Chris and daughter Siobhan at his side; aged 61 years.

Loved Dad of Chris, Andrew and Siobhan. Loved brother of Margaret, Brian and Colleen.

A service for Mike will be held in the Dignity Chapel, corner of Middleton and Isadore Roads, at 10am on Saturday March 30 followed by private burial.
