On April 18, 2013, suddenly in Dunedin; aged 79 years.

Loved husband of the late Dorothy. Loved father and father-in-law of Helen, Gordon and Celia, Brian and Viv, and also Alison. Loved Pop of Allison, Rosie, and Graham; Ben, and Caitlin; Melissa, Ethan, and Jack, and great-grandad of Masie, Finlay, Hanah, Deakin, and Timmi.

A service for Norrie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10.30am on Wednesday April 24, followed by private cremation.
