FARREN, Edith (Edie)

On May 31, 2013, peacefully at Oxford Court Rest Home; aged 87 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Robert. Loved sister of Elsie and the late Harry and Nellie (England). Cherished friend of Evelyn and the late John Whyte and "Auntie Edie" of Chrystine and Geoff Stirling and family. Special friend of Phyllis and Russell Turner.

Those we love remain with us. For love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade, because a loved one is gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart.
For as long as there is a memory, they will always live on in our heart.

A service for Edie will be held in the Dignity Chapel corner Middleton and Isadore Roads at 10am on Tuesday, June 4, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for Cancer Research would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
