On August 23, 2013, peacefully at home, on his terms (as per usual); in his 75th year.

Loved son of the late Sam and Lizzie, dearly loved husband of the late Valerie, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Tony, Nathan and Rochelle, Tracey and Leonard King, adored and respected Grandfather of Joshua, and Hannah; Tylah, and Mojavee; loved brother of the late Elaine and uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate JP's life will be held 'Centre Court' at the More FM Arena, Edgar Centre, Portsmouth Drive, Dunedin at 1.00p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, followed by private cremation.

The family would like to thank Basketball Otago and 'JP's Girl's' for their care and support.
