Passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on October 6, 2013; aged 91 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Jill and the late Shirley and close companion of Melva Baird.

Loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Rosiland, Sally and Allan Murtagh, cherished grandfather of Hugh, Oliver, and Elizabeth; Sam and Alana, Richard and Megan, Daniel and Katherine, and Rachel, great grandfather of Edward, and Flynn. Loved brother of Brian, Eric, and the late Peter.

A service for Dick will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2.30pm on Friday October 11, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
