WHITE, Verna Jean (nee Snook) of Waikouaiti
Verna passed away peacefully at Yvette Williams Home, Dunedin on November 2, 2013 after a good life; aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Sandy. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Alan (Wellington), Nancy an the late Jim Bradley (Waikouaiti), Dorothy and the late Lawrie Snook (Auckland), and the deceased Gordon and Rae Snook (Stratford), Ian (Wellington) and Basil (Waikouaiti). Also a dear friend to many at the Waikouaiti and Chisholm Park Golf Clubs.
A Memorial service for Verna will be held at the Waikouaiti Golf Club, Edinburgh Street, Waikouaiti at 1.30pm on Wednesday November 20. Special thanks to Yvette Williams staff for their wonderful care of Verna and their kindness to the families. If you would like to bring a single flower for Verna, these will be placed on the Snook family grave after the service.

Dearly loved wife of the late Sandy White and step-mum to the late Mavis, Tom, and Sandy. Very dearly loved step-grandmother to Pam and Tony, Jenny, Bruce and Jeanette, Dianne and Pete, Graham and Jeanette, Jo and William, Tom, Ron, Sandi and Peter, and a much loved and respected step great grandmother to many. She will be very sadly missed.
