On January 8, 2014 peacefully with family at Yvette Williams Retirement Village; in her 97th Year. Dearly loved wife of the late Les, loved mother and mother-in-law of Lesley (deceased) and Tony Meikle, Graham, and Wayne and Marnie, much loved Grandma of Maria, Kathryn, and Greg; Tracy, Mark, and Nicola; and Hannah, and a loved great- grandmother and great-great- grandmother. Special thanks for the wonderful care at Yvette Williams and St Andrews Home.

A service for Doris will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13 followed by private cremation.
