On March 27, 2014, suddenly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Jill. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Kim and Phil, Lee, Paul and Alana, and Shaun and Karla.

Loving G Dad of Jessica, Daniel, Sheree, Israel, and Kirsty; Zane, and Dali, Lilly, and Sena, Tyra, and Jye and a loved great grandad of his 8 great grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Barry and Iona, Brian and Ethel, Isabel and the late Noel, Hugh and Caroline and their families.

A service for Charlie with close family and friends will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Wednesday April 2, followed by private cremation.
