On April 20, 2014, peacefully at his Christchurch home; aged 49 years.

Deeply loved partner and soul mate of Kay. Much loved, and loving father of Amy and Jayden, Ben, and Sam. Adored Grandad of Lucas. "Bonus parent" of Mitch and Brooke, Seth and Rochelle, Callum, and Tyler. Loving son of Vicki and Gordon, and also Henry. Much adored brother of Garret and Rae, Megan and Wade, and Jackie, and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Al's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 12.30pm on Saturday April 26 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust would be much appreciated and may be left at the service.
