GUTHRIE, Irene (of Lawrence)
On May 3 2014, peacefully at Highview Rest Home, Dunedin; in her 99th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan, loved mother and mother-in-law of Charlie and the late Barbie Giles (Tapanui), Nola and the late Ted Cavanagh (Invercargill), Barry and Judy Guthrie (Waitahuna), loved Nannie of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Jim and Bunty Gunn, and Barbara and the late Cyril Soper.

Grateful thanks to the staff of Lawrence Rest Home, Wards 5B and 6A of Dunedin Hospital, and Highview Rest Home for their loving care of our Mum.

A celebration of Irene's life will be held at Simpson Park, Harrington Street, Lawrence at 1.30pm on Thursday May 8, then leaving for Lawrence Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John, Lawrence would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
