OWEN, Daphne Margaret (nee Byers)

On May 23, 2014, suddenly at home, surrounded by her family; in her 85th year. Dream Girl of Murray in their 60th year of marriage, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Claire and Trevor Goudie, Robert and Janneke, and Rhonda and Alex Scheiber, adored Grandma of Logan, Simon, and Nicholas; Kimberley, David, and Joshua; Peter, Hayden, and Maegan, and a proud great-grandma of Ebony, and Bronte.

The family thank Dr Mark Bevin and the staff of the Emergency Department at Dunedin Hospital for their care and support.

A service for Daphne will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday May 29, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
