- Passed away peacefully on August 27, 2006 at Churtonleigh Hospital after a long battle.

Cherished and loving husband of Marjorie. Darling Dadda of Judith and Craig (Pinny). Special Grandadda of Sarah, Samantha and Matthew. Loved brother of Dick & Betti.

With tears we watched you suffer and slowly fade away
You didn't want to leave us and fought so hard to stay
God saw you getting weary when a cure was not to be
He wrapped his arms around you and gently whispered "come to me"

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A celebration of Stanley's life will be held at the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, Molesworth Street, Thorndon, on Wednesday August 30, 2006 at 1:00pm.
