KIERNAN, Peter James. Passed away peacefully at home in Carterton on 26th July 2014 after a long illness. Aged 60 years.
Dearly loved and treasured husband of Debra, loving father of Melanie, Dylan & Gaverne (deceased), proud grandfather of Bridey, Robert, and Molly. Loved father-in-law of Sonya, and soon to be father-in-law of Roger. Loved by his brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Pauline, niece Lee-anne, nephew Shane and their families.
Special thanks to Dr Matt Mills at Masterton Medical Centre, the Oncology team at Wellington Hospital, the Respiratory teams at Masterton and Wellington Hospitals, and the Kahukura Palliative Care Team, and Hospice Wairarapa, in Masterton.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wairarapa Cancer Society PO Box 121 Masterton 5840 can be made in Peter’s memory. These may be left in the donation box at Peter’s service.
A Funeral service will be held at The Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road Carterton on Thursday 31st July 2014 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation at Clareville.
